MODERN MAGIC - 100 word story

A different sort of magic continues this week...

Modern Magic

Batty Patty had a problem.
Via the modern magic of the internet she was in contact with other 'believers' the world over.
Her popularity stemmed from the fact that she lived in Ireland and could reassure folk of her sincerity and knowledge of the Little People and their wonderful remedies.
Sure, who wouldn't believe an Irish lass?
But now these folk wanted the magic remedies for themselves, and whilst Patty was only too willing to share, she wasn't quite sure how to.
And then one day, via the modern magic of the internet, she learnt about online shopping.
Problem solved.

    1. It's all in the name. Although, in this case, it's a nickname coined by others, not Patty. :)

    1. I'll pass the order on to Patty, but snake oil might be a problem as there aren't any snakes in Ireland. :)

    1. Well, I'm becoming addicted to writing stories about Irish folk. Not surprising since I'm half Irish and live in Ireland. :)

  11. How Batty is Patty? I think she is not as batty as makes out to be

    1. No, she's not as Batty as her nickname suggests. It's what happens to people who are outside the norm - they get classified by others. :)
